Sandra Rodriguez Named Executive Director, Texas at Latinos for Education

Houston, TX – Latinos for Education is proud to announce that Sandra Rodriguez has been appointed as the Executive Director, Texas, following her tenure as Interim Executive Director. In this role, Sandra will oversee the organization’s regional vision, leadership, and operations, as well as external affairs, fundraising, program implementation, and statewide policy and advocacy programming.

Sandra Rodriguez is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of advancing educational equity and expanding opportunities in communities across Greater Houston. As the Executive Director, Texas at Latinos for Education, she draws on decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and advocacy to champion the success of educators in the region and improve educational opportunities for students. Sandra has led initiatives that increased opportunities in education leadership pipelines, mobilized community coalitions to influence policies, and secured partnerships that expanded resources for underrepresented students and families. Recognized for her ability to foster inclusive environments and build impactful programs, Sandra is passionate about mentorship and advocacy, creating pathways for the next generation to thrive and succeed.
