Latinos for Education (L4E) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. Accessibility is not separate from our mission — it is part of it. As an organization working toward a more equitable future for Latino communities and the educators who serve them, we believe our digital properties should be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice recognition software, and alternative input devices.
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website in support of that commitment. This is a goal we strive toward continuously — not a status we claim to have fully achieved.
We have adopted the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as the target standard that guides our accessibility efforts. WCAG 2.1 AA is published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and is the standard most widely referenced in U.S. accessibility law and litigation today. Adopting it as a target does not mean our website currently meets it in full.
Areas we are working to address, on an ongoing basis, include:
Conformance status: These are goals we strive to meet, not guarantees of current performance. We do not represent or warrant that any specific page or feature of our website fully conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA at this time. Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort, and our website — like most websites — is a work in progress. New content, third-party tools, and older materials may not yet reflect these practices. We intend to address known issues as time and resources allow, but we do not commit to a specific timeframe for any individual fix.
Despite our best efforts, some content on our website may not yet be fully accessible. This can include:
If you encounter a barrier, please use the contact information below — we treat every report as an opportunity to improve.

To help us address the issue efficiently, please include, if possible: the web page or URL, a description of the issue, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.

We will make a good-faith effort to acknowledge accessibility feedback and to consider ways to address it. This statement does not create a guaranteed response time, remediation timeline, or outcome for any specific report.
If you are unable to access content or complete a task on our website because of a disability, please contact us using the information above. We will make a good-faith effort to explore an alternative way to provide the information or service you need, subject to our available staff, resources, and technical capacity at the time.
Our website may link to or embed content hosted by third parties (such as video platforms, donation processors, or social media). We select vendors and partners with accessibility in mind where feasible, but we do not control, and cannot guarantee the accessibility of, websites or content outside our direct ownership.
This statement applies to the primary Latinos for Education website. It describes our aspirations and ongoing, good-faith effort toward digital accessibility. It is not a warranty or guarantee that our website is, or will be, fully accessible, error-free, or free of accessibility barriers, nor a guarantee of any specific level of WCAG conformance. Legal obligations regarding website accessibility vary by jurisdiction and organizational status; this statement reflects our voluntary adoption of WCAG 2.1 AA as an aspirational best-practice target and does not constitute an admission of legal obligation under any specific statute or regulation, nor an admission that any part of our website currently meets that target.
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may reach out to tech@latinosforeducation.org.
